Malachite is named for the Greek work "mallow" which is a green herb. Malachite is a copper ore that comes in a brilliant green marked with bands of contrasting shades of the same green.  Malachite was used as a mineral pigment in green paints from antiquity until about 1800. Malachite's most striking physical property is its green color. All specimens of the mineral are green and range from a pastel green, to a bright green, to an extremely dark green that is almost black. Never clean malachite with any product containing ammonia.

We do our best to choose each stone carefully and purposefully for every piece.. However there might be slight differences in color size shape and clarity which makes each item unique and one of a kind.

Each piece of jewelry will come in a colored drawstring bag for it’s protection and storage or to be ready to give as a gift.
