Aquamarine and Labradorite “DIVA” Women’s 7 inch Stretch Bracelet
Aquamarine is the second-most-popular gem beryl and is the birthstone for the month of March. Like emerald, its identity is defined by its color. Aquamarine has a distinct greenish blue to blue color. Unlike emerald, light-colored stones in this color range are still called aquamarine. The stones that are richly colored are the most desirable, and the stones with a very pale color. It was first used in ancient Greece between 300 and 500BC and has been carried by sailors throughout history to ensure safe travel and protect against drowning. It was used by seers as a stone of prophecy and it’s energetic influence was thought to ensure that truths and wisdom were imparted with clarity and compassion.
Labradorite is a sodium calcium aluminium silicate mineral. Labradorite is a stone which displays beautiful flashes of iridescent colours of blue, green, yellow, copper and grey. It gets it’s name from the location it was found in 1770 by Moravian missionaries in Labrador in Canada. It had been used by the native people of Maine for over a thousand years, Inuit people believed it to have been pieces of the Aurora Borealis which had fallen to earth.
